1. What data we collect

When you use this website, we may collect: (a) information you submit through the contact form (name, phone number, email address if provided, and your message); (b) messages you send us via WhatsApp; and (c) general website usage data collected through Google Analytics (such as pages visited and approximate location derived from IP address), which does not identify you personally.

2. Why we collect it

We use contact form and WhatsApp information solely to respond to your appointment request or inquiry. We use Analytics data to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it — this data is aggregated and not used to identify individual visitors.

3. How we store your data

Contact form submissions are sent directly to pujaeyehospital@gmail.com and may also be stored in our website database so the clinic team can respond. We retain contact information only for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain appointment records, consistent with applicable medical record-keeping practices.

4. Third parties

We use Google Analytics for website usage statistics, and WhatsApp (operated by Meta) for message-based communication if you choose to contact us that way — both are subject to their own respective privacy policies. Our website may also display publicly available Google reviews of Puja Eye Hospital via the Google Places API; this is inbound public review data, not a sharing of your personal information.

5. Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request corrections, request erasure of your data (subject to any legal or medical record-keeping requirements), and to withdraw consent for future processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer below.

6. Children's data

If you are submitting an appointment request on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and consent to that minor's information being processed for the purpose of scheduling and providing medical care.

7. Grievance Officer

Dr. Puja Sheth is the designated Grievance Officer for this website under the DPDP Act, 2023. Data protection queries or complaints can be directed to pujaeyehospital@gmail.com.

8. Cookies

This website uses cookies associated with Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. These cookies do not identify you personally. You can disable cookies through your browser settings at any time.

9. Policy updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The date of the most recent update will be noted at the top of this page.
